Rooftop Renovation

In 2022 the St Andrew's Cathedral School community came together to raise funds on our Giving Day for our iconic rooftop. More than just a playground, it is where our community gather to laugh, think, reflect and share. As well as being a vital leisure space for our students, it is where we train and practice for sport; where we host competitions and barbecues; assemblies and smoking ceremonies; reunions and celebrations.

We raised an amazing $310,000 thanks to the incredible support of our families, friends, students, Old Andreans and P&F.

Over the Christmas break the rooftop was repainted with a stunning coast to ocean theme, additional play and sport opportunities were provided with handball courts, basketball markings and football goals; new mobile seating , plants and a chicken coop were incorporated; outdoor blackboards for creative play; new bathrooms; a bigger canteen and climbing and transverse walls.
