Our bumper crop of Ultimate Andreans
Friday, 31 October 2025

Ten graduating students this year share a rare distinction. Known as the Ultimate Andreans, they have completed their entire schooling journey, from Kindergarten to Year 12, at St Andrew's Cathedral School.

It's a remarkable milestone. Families move, circumstances change, and the path from K–12 is long. That's why this year's group of Ultimate Andreans, the largest we have ever had, stands as a testament to the strength of our community and the lasting impact of a SACS education.

Since our School first welcomed Kindergarten students in 2005 (previously starting at Year 3), only a small number of students have completed the full journey. These ten began in 2012, learning in bright, collaborative classrooms, embracing new technology, and finding their independence on early outdoor adventures at Kirrikee.

For Orlando Lennon (OA2025), that journey has been defined by music. "I've been a chorister for my entire time at the School," he said. "It feels very special to graduate from the same school that was originally formed to educate choristers."

For Dennis Cosmetatos (OA2025), leadership shaped his experience. "Being Captain of Salisbury House gave me a window into what leadership involves and challenged me to grow."

And for Connor Nelson (OA2025), it's been a time of deep gratitude. "I've adored being a student here. Growing alongside my peers, with amazing teachers and communities to support me, has been incredible. I'm so thankful for all that SACS has done for me."

At the Junior School and Gawura School farewell in September, each Ultimate Andrean received a special medal, a symbol of thirteen years of shared learning, growth and connection.

Congratulations to our 2025 Ultimate Andreans: Anders Chin, Dennis Cosmetatos, Emily Dries, Cadel Holmes, Orlando Lennon, Hugh Miller, Connor Nelson, Dean O'Mahony, Nicolas Pirri and Danielle Chapman. Welcome to the club – and congratulations to your families too. What an extraordinary effort.
