SACS Class of '94 back thirty years after 'The Burning of Kent St'
Friday, 13 December 2024

SAH rooftop was buzzing with energy as more than 40 Old Andreans from the Class of 1994 reunited for their Thirty Year reunion in November.

The reunion saw attendees traveling from as far as Hong Kong and Darwin to reconnect with old friends and revisit fond memories at School.

A standout moment of the night was the viewing of a wide range of photos and videos of their time here during the late 80s and 90s. This ended with a viewing of the Class of 94's Year 12 revue video, The Burning of Kent St, which sparked plenty of laughs and a fair bit of shock from everyone in the room.

Adding to the nostalgia, a classroom-style photo of everyone was taken in Chapter House, naturally with the school captains front and centre of course the OAA gave everyone their gold OA pin.

The event came together thanks to the efforts of Dan Ford, Matt Hegarty, and Myles Carrick, who helped organise the evening and reach out to their networks.

Reunions like these highlight the enduring bonds of the SACS community. To the Class of 1994: it was a pleasure to have you back. Don't be strangers—we look forward to welcoming you again soon!
