This term's Council meetings have been filled with exciting developments and plans to engage our vibrant Old Andrean community.

In addition to our regular reunions, we have officially locked in a date in November this year for the OAA Mixer. Details about the venue and what to expect will be coming soon—stay tuned. Further to this, a Cru Reunion is in the works and will be happening in just a few short weeks! Keep an eye out for more details as we get closer to the date.

In our continued efforts to honour the rich history of SACS, we have also committed funds to restore the iconic Kingsford Smith Memorial Shield, which has been awarded at every Evening of Celebration and Prizegiving (Speech Night) since 1940. It is in need of some tender loving care.

We were also fortunate to have a productive session with the Head of School, discussing the association's priorities and receiving an insightful update on the School's current initiatives and future plans.

We have begun preparations for a jam-packed 2025 that promises to be filled with meaningful events, including the immensely popular biennial Learning the Ropes careers event and our involvement in the 140 Year Celebrations of St Andrew's Cathedral School. We're looking forward to making 2025 a year to remember!
